Salzburg Trailrunning Festival
About This Race
The Salzburg Trailrunning Festival is the trail running season finale in Austria. Over three days, runners experience the Mozart city from a completely new perspective — along the Salzach river, up spiral staircases and narrow streets to the Hohensalzburg Fortress, and over steep climbs to Salzburg local mountain, the Gaisberg.
The Course
Urban trails through Salzburg old town, steep fortress paths, and mountain single-track to Gaisberg summit (1,288m). Technical sections with cobblestones, stairs, and forest trails.
