One of the most scenic marathons in Germany, running along the Deutsche Weinstraße (German Wine Route) through the Palatinate region. The course goes from Bockenheim to Bad Dürkheim and back, passing through stunning vineyard landscapes between the Haardtrand and Rhine. Held only every 2 years.
