About This Race
The Maratona Filhos da Freita is a challenging mountain road marathon in the Serra da Freita, organized by Confraria Trotamontes in partnership with the Arouca municipality. Now in its 3rd edition, the race climbs from the village of Arouca to the plateau of Serra da Freita, offering stunning mountain scenery and a true test of endurance.
